I have come to fall in love with teaching in Catholic schools. What are YOU in love with?...

"Nothing is more practical than finding God, that is, than falling in love in a quite absolute, final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you will do with your evenings, how you will spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything." - Pedro Arrupe

Sunday Funday in the Holy Land

Sunday, 6/22/14

Favorite parts of today =

* Primacy of Peter (first stop) - where Jesus appeared to apostles after Resurrection on the shore, telling them to cast their nets on the other side

* Mass at the Mount of the Beatitudes (& reflection time)

* Sea of Galilee cruise was beautiful too

Got chills when our tour guide kept saying nothing much has changed since the time of Jesus (on the Sea of Galilee) - how cool is that?! I have enjoyed talking to various people from our group at lunch and on the bus. We are quite diverse!

We came back early today (4:30ish), and a number of people went in the pool. Me? I opted out - didn't feel like showering before dinner. Though, thinking now, the pool looks very refreshing. Maybe tomorrow... (I just don't particularly care for chlorine...) It is nice to just sit out here and relax/reflect.
